Along the coast and throughout Northern California, we forage and harvest some of the most healing plants from our lush and wild backyard. We also source unique and invaluable fresh oils and butters from one of the world’s most precious and diverse habitats—the Amazon—through direct relationships with farmer cooperatives. These partnerships help preserve Amazonian forests while supporting small, local economies.

Our formulations reflect a deep commitment to sustainability and collaboration. For example, our sake kasu is sourced through an integral partnership with Den Sake, where we upcycle nutrient-rich byproducts from sake production into deeply restorative skincare. This circular approach not only reduces waste but also celebrates the power of community-based innovation.
